Who we are
The Energy Professional Directory (EPD) is an online directory of companies that provide energy-industry services. You can contact us through the contact form.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we store your name, email address, and, if you give them, your organisation, phone number and message, together with the service you asked about. We use them only to reply to you and to help with your request.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe we store your email address and when you gave consent. We use it only to send EPD updates. To unsubscribe at any time, use the unsubscribe link in any EPD email or ask us through the contact form, and we will remove you from the list.
- Technical data. With form submissions we record your IP address and browser type, to protect the forms against abuse and spam.
Your country and cookies
To show providers in your country first, the site stores a two-letter country code (for example “AE”) in a cookie called epd_country for up to 30 days. The code comes from the network our site is served through, not from your device's location, and it is not linked to you. The site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Some background photographs are loaded from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com), which receives your IP address and browser details when it sends the image, as any website does.
Company listings
Company profiles contain business information, such as company names, business addresses, general contact details, websites and services offered, collected from publicly available sources and from the companies themselves. To correct, update or remove a listing, please contact us.
How long we keep data, and your rights
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with them and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details above.
Terms of use
EPD helps you find companies that provide energy-industry services. Listings are provided for information. A listing is not an endorsement or a certification of a company, and you should carry out your own checks before engaging a provider. Agreements you make with a listed company are between you and that company. You may not copy or scrape the directory in bulk, or use the site in a way that disrupts it.
